Not sure about the twin cpu\'s. The 1V cpu ws clocked higher, 33MHz vs 24MHz for the EOS 3, but overall feature set was the same. Most said they could not really detect the improved AF speed of the 1V over the 3. The 1V did get a permanent battery level indicator on the lcd panel; with the 3 you had to press this tiny little hidden button to activate battery level.
If the 5D II had the 1 series AF, 4.5fps, and better sealing, it would be pretty much an EOS 3D.
