The US had most of the world's stock and Canon did a good job building a stock pile before release. I think the first day it even went on sale in Japan was just yesterday or the day before.
But the rest of the world, including Canada, was short changed on release.
Yes there will still surely be places to secure and R5II in the US at smaller stores. And even big stores have kits available still.
But regardless, people on CR forums have confirmed with big US dealers and Canadian dealers and they are confirming they have no ETA on more cameras...basically saying the ones that will trickle in will go to preorders but new orders they have no idea and have been told by Canon that it could be 6months+.
