Sony A7c Issue?

Last year I was really happy with my A7c paired with a Tamron 20-40mm f2.8. My images were sharp, detail capture was amazing, dynamic range was fantastic. Overall, it was an amazing camera. I regret selling it and the Tamron 20-40mm f2.8 as well.

Three months or so later, I ended up buying a new A7c and a new Tamron 20-40mm f2.8. I applied the same, identical settings on my new body, but there is a very noticeable difference in IQ. My new A7c does not capture images even remotely close to my old A7c! I have tried 3 different lenses, but the results are pretty much the same. The images I'm getting now are equal or less than an APS-C camera in terms of IQ. Again, same settings as my old A7c, so there should be no difference.

Is there a possibility that Sony crippled its new A7c causing the images shot with the newer A7cII and A7cR to look remarkably better?

The A7c used to be my go-to camera for yravel. Now I can't even capture individual strands of hair on a subject. It's like a camera movement blur I see in most images now.

Anyone else having this issue? Again, if you have an older production A7c, chances are you are getting great images. I'm more concerned about how has your new A7c been performing?
