Hrmm, rolling shutter is banished at the cost of 1-stop DR, which one gets back by applying NR in post (thus = in DR to a7IV), it seems like a no-brainer for my wants and needs. a9III hands-down...well, if I were still a Sony shooter! .
The effects of rolling shutter cannot be overstated here...where it's, um, simply a matter of trying to straighten jello-effect verticals (losing framing and resolution in the process), certain image destruction is quite-simply irrepairable...

As we wade into the 2nd decade since Panasonic and Fujifilm announced their joint venture to create a Global Shutter Organic CMOS sensor, my fingers are still crossed that Panasonic (or Fujifilm) will, one day, finally figure out how to get this sensor out of their garage workshop and put it into an actual purchasable camera that, y'know, folks like me can actually take home and use! Ha!
Bravo, Sony, for bringing this long-overdue tech to the world of digital photography, I miss being able to shoot global shutter since Kodachrome25 went extinct!
