Sony's newer bodies are also much more refined than their older generations. Try A7 iv, A7r v, A7c ii and you will immediately notice the difference against A7 iii. Particularly, the AI AF is a significant improvement. This makes an even more impact for video when the camera just keeps the subject in focus when the cameraman doesn't have to worry about that anymore. There are other important improvements as well: user interface, touch screen, better ibis, more responsive camera, articulating screen, additional features, battery life, better built, etc..
