Neither. They both fall within the ranges you provided so “usefulness” is the same. Pick the FL you prefer.
Thanks for the information. 35mm is the cheaper one. Going to get 35mm. Between 24-70mm and 70-200mm, which one is a better deal to jump on. I can stretch to buy one of them and not both. Probably i can sell my old EF lens.
