Pixel peeping is probably why we have obscene planned obsolescence waste in the digital camera industry. I pixel peeped too, but it was pointless in that most every digital camera produces incredibly sharp photos. How much more do photographers expect from a digital camera? We shoot weddings and editorial with a 20mp camera after shooting with Hasselblad, Nikon and Sony. If shooting large, displayed art gallery photos that are feet across, try using a pano tripod and stitch.
