 Sony A7cR Button Quality | |
I recently received my A7cR. In all the reviews I have seen, people talk about the quantity of buttons, but no one talks about quality of buttons compared to A7RV.
So it is very disappointing to find that the buttons on A7Cr are not nearly as prominent (raised) and are almost devoid of tactile feedback. It is difficult to press with bare hands, but with thick gloves, forget it. This is in contrast to A7Rv buttons which are the best in Sony lineup and have a very satisfying feedback.
I can't imagine that Sony had to compromise on the quality of buttons due to the size (or the price) of the camera. A more prominent button wont take up any more space and doubt that will cost more then a fraction of penny for the extra plastic.
Just posting to see if it is only I who is disappointed by this or others feel the same way.
