I liked the EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS USM on my 80D and 90D, albeit it's large and heavy it balances okay especially if you use a battery grip. Used ones are very reasonably nowadays. Not so fond of it on my much smaller R7. The EF 50 1.2L USM was nice but I missed not having IS as I'm not so steady of hand anymore.
