Some DIY aerochrome experiments on my self-converted full spectrum M5


Just converted my M5 to full spectrum on a rainy day (so many of them this summer in the northeast), so I figured that I could do a little DIY aerochrome experiment based on the information I gathered from the internet.

I used a Meike VND drop-in filter, removed the glass and installed a 2mm thick GRB3 (50mm in diameter) heat absorbing glass from tangsinuo on Ebay. I glued a cut sheet of Lee 729 scuba blue on the the GRB3. To avoid the Newton rings, I used some thin tape on the edge to separate the two. After a little dress up it looks pretty decent:
