I've been considering this lens because I like the idea of having a 24GM, 35GM, and a 135 with the same filter thread size. Unfortunately, it seems that the filter thread size is of no benefit to the zeiss because it is actually wider by nearly 1 cm.
Buying brand new, no contest going with the 135GM is the better choice. Buying used though, I think this lens has value over the 135GM.
