 First time with foxes | |
This was the first time I have had an opportunity to photograph fox kits, and it sure was fun!
As always, C&C are welcome and encouraged.
EDIT: I understand the comments on the last image, and the concern about whether I was disturbing the foxes. This fox den is right next to a public location, and there is a chain link fence separating them. The den has been in this location for several years and is well known. These photos were taken while standing on a path where many people walked by, some with their dogs. While I am no fox expert by any stretch, I feel pretty confident that they were not very concerned about my presence. The adult foxes showed themselves very rarely, and mostly didn't pay any attention to me. These shots were all taken with a 500mm lens and significantly cropped. I hope the foxes were not bothered by the photo session, as that certainly is not my intention.
