Using it on my A7III with the MC-11 and as reported by others, it's kinda slow and noisy to focus, but precise at least. Guess for wedding scenarios could still be a viable solution, but nothing that moves faster for sure.
It's really very very good optically, sharp, nice colors and contrasty, just befare that is a pretty heavy all-metal old-fashioned lens. Apart from the risk that if breaks down you end with a nice paperweight, I think that for the <USD 400 that can be found now it's a steal for a 2.8 telezoom of such quality
