Golden-bloomed Grey Longhorn - Agapanthia villosoviridescens

The only other time I saw one of these was three years ago, also in our garden, on a leaf of a currant bush.

This one was on umbellifer leaves in our garden. I could not get head-on shots before it tumbled into the mass of stalks. I searched but could not find it.

Shortly afterwards, I thought I had found it again, a few paces away. To cut a long story short, this was a second one (damaged tip of eleytron) and I found tho other one again back in the first position and, finally, this second one, further away. Both flew at various times and it was only with the second one, at he second encounter with it, that I got the elusive head-on views.

The stereos are crosseye. All single frames have been cropped.

Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f11, hand-held.
