 AF Assist options for A7R iii | |
I don't want to use the silly little orange light on the camera for various reasons so is there an option for a proper AF assist beam from a speedlight like every Canon/Nikon flash made for the past couple of decades? I bought a Godox v860ii and was gutted to find that Sony appears to not be able to use the AF assist. I shoot in pitch black venues for music and club events. I had to pull out my old 6D because the Sony simply couldn't focus without an AF assist. This just seems like such a ridiculous thing to leave out. It's so vital for my work that if I can't make it work on my A7R iii then I'm going to need a whole canon system still just for those types of events
