While I'm not a big fixed lens 35mm FF body type of person I think the design here is really forward looking. I think we'll see increased in body functionality like raw converters, other functions associated with tablets and phones and increasingly sophisticated use of touch screens in the future. With Moore's Law processing power and energy efficiency are just going to get better and better. I think internal SSD's will also be there. I also think the standard dials somewhat new and ironically futuristic. With thunderbolt 3 you could even attach a display and periperals to your camera if it had enough power, who knows? Maybe with terapixel sensors a good fixed lens and a crop based digital would be fine?
