In the future this kind of question is probably better served being asked in the Canon Forum. Even better, you can look up threads already covering the topic and resurrect the thread rather than start a new one (ie https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1479592/0?keyword=16-35#13953203). Lastly, there are several 16-35s (f/2.8, f/2.9 ver II, f/4 IS, etc).
