Tamron 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HSD


Tamron just announced a 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HSD (APS-C Format) lens due out next month for Canon and Nikon mounts.

Their website states that the focal length range of 18-400mm and 22.2 zoom has an ultra telephoto range equivalent to 600mm in the 35mm format. Does that also mean FX format?
