 Shays Run West Virginia Waterfalls | |
These images are all along Shays Run, a stream located in Blackwater Falls State Park, West Virginia. Only the first waterfall has an official name, Elakala Falls. This was the first time I had taken waterfall photos at such cold (12 degrees) temperatures and found out that there are additional challenges to be met at such cold temps around water. As a reminder, the color of the water is influenced by tannin which is how Blackwater Falls got its name. Any suggestions for improvement are always welcome...Kevin
