 A couple of Courthouse Falls, Pisgah National Forest | |
In the nearly 3 days of the workshop, we hit up 10 waterfalls. Courthouse Falls is a pretty cool waterfall, near a geological feature called the Devil\'s Courthouse. The hike isn\'t that difficult, although it is pretty steep. The plunge pool is pretty deep and I hear that people jump from the upper falls into the pool, about 45 feet below. Not me. Anyways, it was an enjoyable location. While we were there, we would get occasional drops of leaves and they would pretty quickly make way from the plunge pool to the exit stream. I\'m standing in the exit stream for one of the images and with a slower SS, I was able to capture the movement of the leaves through the exit stream. Hope you enjoy these.
