Ive tried it. Its OK focusing wide open then stopping down to the working aperture but its a bit of a pig focusing when stopped down even in bright light. And of course at the longer end it need some manual help to shorten the focusing range. It can be a bit unresponsive but I noticed when holding under the lens to support fully it was better so I guess the lens + adaptor weight is on the borderline.
