I wonder if have a defective unit. Shot a few pics with a 45mm (set FL at 50mm), and it autofocused fine. Tuned off the camera, and swapped out the 45 for a 135. Set the FL for 135mm.

No AF function. Only MF.
Swapped the 45 back in, and set the FL again. No joy.

Swapped in a native 28-70. AF works normally.

Swapped the adapter and 45mm in again. Set the FL. AF works.
Swapped in the 135. Set the FL. AF will work if I pre-focus.

Sound like a (known?) bug, or something else?

Another problem I have is that the IOS app can\'t see the adapter. I\'m not sure if that\'s normal when the FW is up to date (mine appears to be when I check the FW version of the camera).

Anyone else have issues with the FW update app not seeing the adapter?

Looks like B&H is sold out, with no eta or stock request notification up at the moment. Just \"unavailable\".

I spoke to techartpro about the \"135mm\" issue.
I was told that it\'s design decision and not a bug

When setting the aperture to the 135mm, the adapter will switch to MF (instead of AF). The designer wanted to have one aperture choice where the adapter only works in MF.

My advise to them was to remove that and keep AF for that aperture. We can always switch the adapter to MF by pressing a custom button, so in my view, what they did is a little confusing and not needed.

Agree that should be a camera function and not a adapter function. I have no issue with some our native lenses havin AF/MF switches but no 3 rd party has those so the default should always be the body.
