Let me tell you a story....

We were driving along the highway returning from the Sheep and Crane Festival in Faro Yukon back in May 2012. We had been skunked of seeing any sheep (except a few small dots in the distance) and the Sandies had flown over days earlier. As we were driving along, one of my eagle eyed passengers yells out \"look something on the side...looks like a wolf?\". So I start to brake and slow the car down but we were just coming around a big corner, as we came around the corner preparing to turn around and go find out what animal it was back there, we see a black bear strolling straight down the centre yellow line and a porcupine running across the highway straight in front of us. The porcupine made a run for it and didn\'t even get a chance to photograph him. The black bear sauntered over to the shoulder and I snapped off a few shots, but all the while wanting to get turned around and go back and see this \"wolf\". We got turned around and slowly drove back up the road scanning the shoulder for the mystery animal. Finally we saw it and literally none of us could contain ourselves. I shot these from my drivers side seat and out the passenger side window. It may have been my once in a lifetime chance to see this animal in the wild.

Here it is.....oh and it wasn\'t a wolf
