Pictures of Western Grebes chicks being fed fish and riding on their parents back. I had to crop a lot these pictures which resulted in some noise and lack of sharpness. Also bellow a video that shows Clark\'s and Western Grebes chicks being fed feathers. They eat feathers to prepare the stomach for the fish diet that will follow. Grebes eat exclusively fish and never leave the water except to walk on the nest that are built on water. Anatomically they can barely walk.
