Sunset from Baker Beach, San Francisco

I shot this image a couple of weeks ago during our visit to California. I chose a white balance that kept the surf white, which is what I remembered. If I let the water turn warmer, then the reds in the bridge go crazy. To my recollection, the red in the bridge never reflected off the surf, but just in the sheen as the tide pulls back. It is an iconic image and I saw stores selling magnets with variations of this image. The reflection of the lights and the bridge on the sheen caught my attention in the magnets, and made me go there during the chilly evening. On a side note, Baker Beach allows public nudity, so I had to try my best to avoid keeping some nudists out of my frame. I can\'t believe they can walk around naked when I was feeling cold wearing a jacket!

Your comments and criticism are most welcome.

Thank you for your time.
