 Sequoia National Park, California | |
I went on an amazing backpacking trip to Sequoia National Park for 2 nights this past weekend. I spent the first night at Panther Peak and the second night at Pear Lake, both were equally stunning. I was worried the air quality would be very poor due to the fires ravaging the Western United States and the Sierra Nevadas. In fact there was a 2,000 acre fire only 20 miles south of where I was and you can actually see it in one of my photos. Luckily it was really nice and only slightly hazy when looking to the south.
