I\'ll never understand snake behavior. When we lived in TX, I lost a dog to a diamondback, yet Ive seen our neighbor\'s cat drag a live one across the street. I even caught a juvenile diamondback with my bare hands (yea right, I was actually wearing a welders jacket and gloves), and it didnt strike or barely move. Very unpredictable temperment.
(sorry for it being out of focus- you\'ll have to understand my haste to take a picture of it being less that a foot away)
