Summer photography with Canon equipment

A few old guidelines:

(1) Each photography posted should be defined by the gear ID used, and any other pertinent technical/operating information.
(2) Obviously, this is a Canon gear forum, and the thread is a venue in which gear should be discussed in a practical and meaningful way by showing images and thus maintaining a strong picture-making relevance.
(3) This is not a place to critique artistic or technical merits of images. Instead, we\'ve usually had some technical and gear related discussions over images presented.

Here we go, Shriners celebrate Canada day.....those ole boys love their gears.
Handheld 7D + 180L, high noon sunlight. If I ever feel a need for a flashgun, it is when doing this sort of noon-time photography. Normally I shoot only in early morning sunlight or in golden hour light, or equivalent.
