I purchased the Samyang 85 and really really liking it. I am having no trouble focusing wide open for portraits and full body length shots. I am using the d800 (I have found that to get razor sharp images it\'s the d800 I have had to increase my minimum shutter speeds a bit... But when I do,the pics are very sharp). Rob
