About three years ago our town decided to run a little public campaign on maintaining environmental health of the nature paths and marshes in the area. Some messages they wanted to communicate were about not littering, keeping dogs on the leash, not harassing wildlife, and that sorta thing. So they needed some graphic material as well.
I sent them the image #1. While they apparently liked the quirky message coming from a bird perched on a discarded shopping cart, they also wanted me to show some nice marsh environment in the background. Since I couldn\'t and wouldn\'t do that, I had remained unpublished.
I also enclose three more egret shots from that period, such as they are.
