Hope you guys enjoy. C&C welcome

Btw, does anyone know how to paste these from flickr? Every time I try, it tells me that EXIF data is expected. Same file on photobucket works though.

Hi. Check your Flickr account privacy settings. There is a setting to hide the exif data. The weekly assignment forum is expecting the exif data to be on the photos.

Very nice. I like it a lot. My only nit would be to position the cup so there is an uniform backgound to highlight the splash even more.

Great action freeze there, super clear and colourful coffee too. It does leave me wondering what may have fallen out of the sky to produce the splash, though...

Good luck,
David

Thanks Brendan. I checked the option, but the option to hide EXIF data was no. And in my photostream, I can see the data on the right side of the page.

Thanks Mark for the comment and critique. It makes sense what you suggested and will definitely keep that in mind for next time I try splash photography

Thanks David. I tried to get a picture of the biscotti visible while still creating the splash so I dropped an entire bar, but the splash wasn't as nice as this one. This was only half of one biscotti.

Thanks for taking the time to look & comment

This is indeed a great capture. How did you manage the timing?

Thanks Andy. It was a pretty simple setup. I had my camera on the tripod and framed the shot while my girlfriend was in charge of dropping the biscotti. I put the camera on continuous shooting, pressed the shutter and she dropped it after the first shutter. Most of the shots were right before the splash or right after, but managed to get a few decent splash ones. That one, and this one
