Like the renowned poet William Carlos Williams--whose poetry often makes the reader take a close look at the most mundane experiences and objects--I have been working on taking photographs of very ordinary objects, such as the kitchen brushes in this picture, and trying to make them somehow seem "extraordinary." I hope kitchen brushes qualify as tools. (They are certainly tools for me after meals.) I also hope it's okay that I posted this yesterday on the "City, Still Life, Abstract" Forum.

I like it. Great idea and composition. I'm undecided about the background color, I don't know if pure white would be better. Steve
