Have got in a habit of not posting anything recently because I can't think of anything original or interesting. Can't think of anything original or interesting this week either but rather than post nothing, I'm just posting a B+W conversion to try and get back in the habit.

The subject is of a folly in a local deer park. Taken on a dull overcast day, the colour version is rather dull and suits itself well to the B+W conversion, it seems to make it more interesting, for want of a better word.

Hi Andy,

Glad you're posting again. I know what you mean about not being able to come up wih ideas. I've been struggling with that too over the last few weeks. I think the building is very interesting in this shot. Maybe a closer shot could bring more of that cool architecture out.

Thanks for stopping by and for the comments.

I was thinking that about doing a closer crop, but wasn't sure of it. The stuff in the foreground adds a bit of interest. It's a tough one.

It doesn't help that we are constrained to 640px. There are quite a few shots on here that would look a lot better if they were a little bit bigger. 800px would be much better, but then I guess every extra pixel ultimately eats up server space.
