There's plenty of black and white going on there but the theme is not jumping out at me. It's more subtle. I like the shapes and the clouds/sky contrast is quite striking.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. The theme is "black & white" and this is a "black and white" image. I guess I could have done the cliche "piano keys" or "silhouette with a white background" shot.
I know what you mean Klaus. I like a more sophisticated take on the theme as well. I think my mind just makes that adobe look earthtone even though its grayscale. It might have something to do with the gray FM borders around everything also. Yep, I think that's it (the FM background). If the image was on a white mat I think it would have a contrasty black and white appearance. Maybe I'm going nuts It's a fine image I am just trying to relate my thoughts.

I know exactly what you are talking about Mark and no worries.
I am reminded of the old Ansel Adams images that bring out the southwest adobe in such wonderful details and textures. Just trying to bring a little of that history back to life.
The grey color on the pages here doesn't help sometimes but for BW I think it works out OK. Anyway thats my story and I am sticking to it.
