Hi All,

Here is my other hobby. This little 9" long electric helicopter is brand new on the market and is capable of flying inverted, backwards, and sideways. Lots of fun!

Tough shot Mark,
I like it! I've always been interested in these, but I'm afraid I would quickly turn it into abstract art.

Thanks Jim. I have made some "art" out of quite a few of these over the years, . This was the first time I took my own picture while flying though. I had the remote for the camera behind the RC transmitter and it was difficult to squeeze the shutter button while maintaining an inverted hover over the camera. The heli was only about 1 foot away from the camera.

Cool shot mark , got it just right. I always wanted to try one of those, what is the name of the helicopter.

Nice one Mark with several skills being demonstrated by you.

My wife has always said that only women can do two things at the same time. You have just proved her wrong.

Thank you Norm. The helicopter is a Blade mCP-X. This was a prototype model for a magazine review. It will be available to the public by next month.

, I don't know if playing with toys counts in our wives' views, but thanks for the vote of confidence and I am going to keep this shot as proof that I can multi-task

A cool shot and a very cool toy. I'm very impressed by your achievement to make it. To use a 16mm lens on a FF body from such a close proximity and get no perspective distortion while controlling the helicopter is simply amazing. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Just a small nit if I may. Fill flash would - I think - made it perfect.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.
