hello everybody

i have the PRO 300 AF DGX 1.4X that i'm using with my 100mm macro without problems.
i'm thinking to make an upgrade and buy the 100 L is.the question is if i could use
the PRO 300 AF DGX 1.4X with the 100 L is.

have you any experience with that combo?

I've heard that the Kenko can be used.

I have the 100L and the Canon 1.4XII. On page Eng-16 (English section) of the 100L manual, it says "the EF 1.4X II/EF 2X II extenders cannot be used with this lens. There are no compatible close-up lenses."

I have the Kenko Pro DG 1.4, and it does not work with the 100 L (AF hunts), but I believe the DGX should be fine.

I have used this combo and it works fine on a 7D, 5DMKII, 1DsMKIII, and 1DMKIV.

I use a Kenko 1.4 with my 100L and it works fine. AF hunts sometimes, but I don't typically use AF at macro distances anyway.
