This is a long shot but I liked the photo so thought I would share it.
The local Nature center had their annual Winter Wonderland Celebration on Saturday. Activities included x-country skiing, snow shoeing and sled dog demonstrations. This image was taken at the end of a long day. Halfway through the last "mush" of the day one of the sled dogs just laid down and refused to go any further, "Dog Tired". It's time for her to catch a ride home.
Can I just say that, while I like the shot you finally went with, I felt the original shot rewarded the viewer by having the "joke" not immediately obvious. I guess it's more about my sense of humour than a strictly photographic point. But I think both images are great so "win, win".

I was really torn with which way to go. The original photo had several out of place aspects to it ... the sled dog being carried, three dogs pulling instead of four, the bench and the green jacket. Oh well, like you said, win win.
