Hey my birthday is the 7th of April and they are going to be here the 9th. You going to take me for my birthday? I'll bring a camera and even use it if you ask me too.

Matt...I simply cannot answer that unless I can first see you with a blond wig and bright red lipstick, I'll pm you my contact information.
In my younger wilder days that photo was much easier to come by....now you just have to find one of my old friends who didn't throw all that stuff out.
My advice is to bring your gear and at least shoot practice, that's the most fun imo. There's hardly anybody there, and the stadium workers don't usually mind of you roam about. When the light gets bad at night, at least you'll have some pics under your belt to take home. All my shots were from the stands with a 70-200, day shots were with a teleconverter @ f/5.6, night shots were without the teleconverter at f/4. Those settings may have varied a little bit as I accidentally changed settings with my meat hooks, but that's where they stayed for the most part.
Nice shooting!! Yeah that move was pretty funny, we've been round and round on the local moto forum, I personally think they both have some responsibility in the incident. It doesn't matter really, it's making for an exciting season, I absolutely cannot wait for Daytona! Looks like I'm in for SLC on 4/30!
One of the counter points is that, why on earth wouldn't you protect the inside line on the last lap? Especially considering what happened at Phoenix last year. There's also a photo that shows JS fully standing on CRs bike, kinda like Alessi did years ago. It really doesn't matter, it's good for the sport.
I'll be at the Vegas Finals again, only this year, I WILL have my camera and long lens with, after seeing everyone with them last year!!! I will be shooting from the stands also.
