Thanks, Mawz.
A point of clarification: When you say "using the Pentax adapter", do you mean that only one made by Pentax will work properly?
Also, I have been looking at a 600mm Pentax 67 "Takumar" lens. What does Takumar mean, and will it work like other 67 lenses on the 645D?
See:

This doesn't show SMC, so I guess the glass is not as good, right?
As far as I'm aware, only the Pentax-made adapter has the aperture coupling included.
Pentax 67 lenses were introduced in the late 1960's when Pentax was still branding their lenses as Takumars (back then Pentax was merely the brand for the bodies, the company was Asahi Optical Co.). There are Super-Takumar/6x7, SMC Takumar/67 and SMC Pentax 67 lenses in the line, in order of introduction. Older lenses are generally weaker but that isn't always a given. You'll want SMC or Super-Multi-Coated-Takumar labelled lenses as they have much better coatings than the Super Takumars.
The lens you link to is a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar lens, so it has the more modern coatings but is otherwise one of the early lenses from 1971-73 or so.
