I've never done flowers when they have been dried out and wilted , looks nice thou.

My first association was "sad" or "old", not "winter". Maybe it's because it lowers it's head after his productive life are over. Whatever it is, it exudes emotion so I really really like it. It's just that the leaves draw my eye and mind.

Thank you for the comments Yakim. I snapped some photos without leaves and even removed leaves in Photoshop, but then it looked like a rose without "arms and legs".
