Was just spraying some camelia leaves with sugar/honey spray when this red admiral butterfly came down to feed - think it had been waiting.
First 3 natural light/fill flash, last 4 full flash
michael - similar here- had my usual holly blues and speckled wood butterflies, and a few gatekeepers. Not many commas, painted ladies or red admirals around.

nathan - sugar mix = large teaspoon of sugar same of honey add about 50ml water and microwave for 20 to 30 secs to dissolve. I put it in a little hand mister and spray a few leaves (use about 10ml at a time)
