If you have a 1D Mark IV body but you actually prefer a FF camera with the coveted features of 1D series body, well, I do have a low mileage 1Ds Mark III with less than 10K shutter actuations that I am considering of trading with yours. I will even add $$ for your 1D Mark IV or maybe a lens to make up for the difference. Imagine that ! My 1Ds Mark III is about 2.5 years old and its performance has been remarkable. I am the first owner; it is in mint condition except a small scuff on the corner (picture to follow) and it comes complete with all items that came with it when new.
I think I will skip the 1Ds Mark IV when it is introduced later on this month and I will stick with my 5D Mark II & 7D but I would like to get a 1D series camera for my bird photography in about a month or two.
I am in Orange County/LA County for a few weeks and at this point, I am considering a local trade only, at least, in the beginning. We can talk about the difference and a face-to-face transaction seems to be more convenient to do at this point.
