Inspired by Narcissus, it actually took me 3 days to think this up.
20 minutes to film it. If you are interested, I can tell you how.

Do you like it? I hope its better than my previous submission.

oops. I didn't realize how low the water level was... I made sure to put it up really high, but looks like some drained while I was trying to frame the shot.

But other than that, I am very proud of it.
Any comments?

To be honest it doesn't work for me. The legend is about a very handsome young man who fell in love with his own reflection in water. Your portrayal of an anonymous, faceless figure over a basin of water unfortunately doesn't reach the mark in my humble opinion. Sorry if that sounds brutal.

More positively, I applaud it for the time and effort you have put into it. This is a daunting forum but I would urge you not to give up on it. I nearly did that when I first started to post here several years ago. I am still learning and loving it here.

It's a great idea.

If this was taken outside with a puddle or something so that we could see the reflection of the guy being so in love with himself!

Don't give up just keep shooting.

Well, i'm going to see if I can do another take. Its very difficult to get a reflection indoors. Any suggestions?

What time is Noon UTC in EST? (this is probably a quick google search).

hehe. This one actually took me about 50 minutes to shoot. It was not very easy to do. I was attempting to get a simulation of sunlight, and Post Processing helped alot with the color. But the reflection is real. That is not photoshopped.

I just hope it is convincing enough. My original idea with the water was not so good.

But as long as people are happy, it doesnt matter if I win or not!
