sometimes you win by taking some of the pictures and using some program to combine them instead, it usually turns out better, or use fokus bracketing instead, but that's my personal opinion
should be added that sometimes it turns out really well too

Thanks Ronny, Yes, I know I can get better results by both using a tripod, and by stacking the images in post-processing instead.
However, I am not interested in doing either for better results. I am 30 years older than you and don't have the time or interest in doing either of those.
As I posted on the N&W Forum, what most people consider the best photos has nothing to do with sharpness, noise, or artifacts. It is the subject, or the mood, or the uniqueness of a photo that most people care about:
