I hesitate because of the high price tag and the fact that I have 60mm, but definitely
a very good macro lens

Thanks Gary ! Much appreciated

Hopefully I can borrow it again this spring for further evaluation
if I think it's worth the extra money just for my photography

a close photography friend who has it and got it when it came out last year and then I took the opportunity to buy his Em-1 mark III and his 60 macro and that's way in the 4/3 system for me

In the last five days, I have spent much time with the recently added OM-1 II. Mostly reading the manual, studying the settings, but also taking some pictures, and testing processing the raw files in DxO PL7. To share two pictures: the first one below is a 10 MP crop from the full-sized picture, upscaled to 27 MP. The full-sized picture appears next.
