My only nit is the spectular oof highlight on the 'horn' of the bloom in the first image. Other than that. WOW!

Thanks John - certainly no good at whole flower shots normally but this just looked good with the backlight.

Kenny - I'm afraid i just don't have the patience/interest normally to get the light right for whole flower shots. That one was easy - just stuck it in front of the kitchen window

Beautiful! Such a lovely set both the first and the high mag/stacked images.
They are a lovely simple flower.
just a quick question Brian: How many frames did you take for the stacking, I'd like to have a go at trying this out.

Mel - think these were around 10 shot stacks, but obviously this rather depends on the shooting angle and how much DOF you want to cover.
