This is just a quick shot I took over the weekend to get an idea of the landscape potential of my new M11. The detail in these 60mpx files is just amazing. The new metering off the sensor modes make exposure pretty much dead on 100% of the time. Very important to me is that I am having no problems with camera motion shooting hand held at the same shutter speeds as I do on my M10-P. I was really worried about that. Not any more.
It had started raining lightly, there was almost zero swell which is rare here, and the tide was about as low as it gets when I took this shot. The tourists were out in force and enjoying the whole scene. It looks to me that the Seal/Sea Lion population is getting out of hand. We need some more big White Sharks in the area to bring the population down. Seals and Sea Lions I mean, not tourists.
