Light is the source of life. In that essence, light is nature's greatest gift of all. As a photographer, I have another reason to enjoy it as "Photography" literally means "Painting with light". Also, first light always brings good connotations to me: Birth, rejuvenation, fresh start etc.

Pic taken at Mt. Ardon in Makhtesh Ramon during a two-day jeep trip organized by Canon Israel.

I see we were somewhat along the same line of thought, Yakim - your source of life light and my energy drink rain..............sorry, it's been a long day out in the hot sun! Love the gradient from twilight sky to the golden orb. Best of luck!
