Nice concept, Yakim. I like the simplified background. How about an expression of admiration on her face? Possibly a more discernible lipstick impression (full lips)?

Thank you for your kind words John but alas, I can't. It was one of those "lucky shots". I saw it. I took one pic and then the moment was gone. She noticed me.

I WISH I could get my kids to pose for me!! They always run when they see me coming with the camera.

Mine are mostly thus as well. The secret is to catch them off guard, like in this shot. Not that it's easy. Not at all. In fact, a second after I took this pic she noticed me and ran away. Like I said, it was a lucky shot.

I like the shot. I am not sure that without your description one can make the connection to the assignment theme.

I agree with John that the lipstick kiss could be more well defined. Also if the face was turned just a little more towards the viewer (and her ear wasn't sticking out of her hair).

But if you can't get your kids to pose again, or your wife to kiss them again, since as you say this is a candid shot then that is understandable.

I like the sparkle of light shining in her eyes and her hair.

The kissing part would not be a problem but alas, the posing part is. As I absolutely can't repeat it, I'll see if I can find something better in the few days left. And of course, you're absolutely right. Finding the right connection to the theme i.e. the thinking part, is always the most difficult thing for me here.

I think you are right Gregg. The expression we see is more related to the connection with the father and his camera, not the mother and her loving kisses. Yakim will have her trained soon enough.

Bill, I tried chocolate but most of the time it does not work. Financially, I am not ready to step into electronic stuff bribe. Camera gear eats up all my savings.

Sure. What can I lose? Lets hope that the next WA theme is 'Food' or Calories' or something alike. Then I could even include the bribe in the pic itself.

Very nice shot. I like the warm glow that the background reflects on her face. I would crop a bit off the right side though. Good Luck.
