Wow, that is a lot of ISO! Would be even better if you could manage a shot with the cue striking the ball.

The moment is well captured but a bit more breathing space on the left would be welcomed IMHO (if - of course - possible under the shooting conditions).

Thanx alot yakim. That was the crop for the print. I didn't want to cut off the tip of the cue or more of his arm.

Definitely intense. Glad that guy is focusing on the cue ball.

The light seems a little harsh to me, but it works overall. It would have been fun if you could have taken this from the perspective of the ball on the table he was trying to connect to.

It was a quick grab. I had just taken my camera out of the bag. The harsh light on his mellon is from the overhead table lights.

This shot was was available light, ISO 5000. I'm sidelened for a few months of playing due to spinal surgery so I'll have my camera with me instead of my cue. I'll try it from the suggested angle next time.
